That is a cool bike. It looks to be in awesome condition. That paint looks like new and still has that deep shine to it. Looks like your neighbor found himself a sweet buy...And I like those retro-tires.
while in Arkansas at SFO this last week we met up with an eclectric group that had everything from a Goldwing like that one to cruisers to a stretched custome chopper.
I think there were 20 in the group. The Goldwing had the front fairing though.
A friend of mine has that same bike, same color, but with the bags, in a barn with an aftermarket black sidecar on it that I can probably get for cheap. Not at all nice like that but it was running last summer. I have been wrestling with the idea for a month.
I liked the 4-cylinder wings better. I've been trying for a year to get a friend to sell me one he has sitting in the barn. Even less miles; champagne colored. I can spend less than a thousand on new tires and seals, and it would be road-ready. He still has dreams of fixing it, but it will never do anything except collect dust.
