Lookin for somone to ride with

Well this may not be the right place to post this, but I searched the forum and couldn't find a better place to do it. I have recently got back in to riding after taking time out to do the family thing and recently acquired a 2005 FJR and realized that riding alone sucks. I don't really have any friends that ride bikes. Quads, yes, bikes, no. I try to enjoy the trips back and forth to work on the bike, but sitting in stop and go traffic is NOT what this bike wants to do. I have taken a few solo weeking trips up to Paradise by myself, but riding solo is kind of boring, and not all that safe. What I would like to find is someone in the area that mighty be interested in some weekend blasts, or maybe a group of local people that go on rides from time to time. Sorry if this sounds like some sort of cheesy personal add, but I couldn't a better way to approach it. Don't roast the FNG for trying to get involved.

This was suggested by a friend of mine from Spanaway (gpd323 on PNW).

I think he's found several riding partners there.

I'll also second LDRydr's suggestion to join us in Maupin.

There are some fabulous roads in that area.
