Looking for a great leather jacket

The jacket below from Belstaff is $1,300 or so... I'm sure it's really well made and all, but it's not the kind of money I'd like to spend. I've been looking for a jacket like this for years. Anyone seen something similar? Looking for something touring-length with a belt and great collar.

Haven't seen the film, but Brad Pitt apparently wore this in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The closest I saw so far seems to be from Competition Accessories:

I like these type of jacket too but they usually are not that great in the armour side (usually there isn't even pockets for armour, just a double-layer leather at the elbows/shoulders etc... and that's not enough)

Competition Accessories has the above jacket (MIline Melbourne) on sale in the spring catalog for $249.95. Not a bad price on a pretty spiffy leather jacket....
