Can't help with the new one, but if you buy used make sure it is a CA-spec bike or has at least 7500 miles on the paperwork and the clock before you take it in to DMV.

Maybe Cal Coast Motorsports might be a good place to check. Send TwoWheelNut in there to negotiate you a price!

IIRC, it was near San Diego. Can't remember the darn name.. but back in 06 they had THE price to beat.
