Grabbed the Fixodent and rode through to Ferndale on Friday last week while playing over in the Trinity Alps. Absolutely perfect day, with a bit of a breeze.

Pretty ride (rode that North to South last year as part of my Lap of California). But man that road was in bad condition. and being near, but still not at the end of my ride after 10 hours (ended up at Shelter Cove), and not willing to ride under 15mph for long stretches, I didn't enjoy the Lost Coast road at all. The view yes (nice photo's).

Presuming the raod wasn't torture for you, I'm curious - what pace did you ride at?

We rode it in the morning, it helps to be fresh. I rode it a few years back and knew it was a bit bumpy so ya just have to take it easy.

I rarely stop to take pics so they can get a bit fuzzy at times.

Sure is green up there.. down South it's browning out already.
All of Northern Ca is so green now with all the rain this year and more on Monday. If you can get up here in the next few weeks the hills are awesome!

Best in years.
