Anyone else in San Diego area doing this rally? (Sat, April 25)

https://www.thumbwave.com/lowcal250/

We just sent in the entry fee - my first rally of any kind. Janet will be my co-pilot / computer for this. Anyone else from this area planning on doing this?

WOW! I have PKD (and so does everyone along my mom's side of the fam) and I'd never heard of this event.

And

Damn! I've got another major event I can't get out of that weekend! I would have loved a super-mini IBR routing practice day. :(

This is a fun event which supports a good cause.

If you want to see exactly what kind of fun you will be missing out on, make sure to check Reno John's report from last year:

Also, last year they had complementary bagels and donuts for breakfast and a superb German buffet dinner (since it is run out of a BMW shop). It is worth it for the food.

This event is just a great excuse to ride a bunch of the best SD roads along with a bunch of other great people.

Hope to see you there,

Doug

So how did it go guys?

I ain't talking to you. Or Slappy. Damned no-show wimps.

Now drop and give me twenty!! :finger:

Janet and I went two-up and made fourth place - which was really fifth place since second was a tie. All in all, I was pretty happy with how we did since this was my first rally of any kind. I'll try to post a couple of pictures in a day or two...

-edit-

And a big thanks to Craig (Sandiegoland) for doing all the work and making this event go! We had a great time, hope to try again next year.

Yes I was a no show. Shawn was leaving for Tahoe for work then off to San Jose for more work and needed help running errands. Sorry if I put someone elses needs before mine. Besides now I have a quite home all to myself for an entire week and when she comes home I dont have to hear about how ungrateful I was when she needed me to run errands for her before she left. Peace X2.

I am sorry I wasnt able to go. It sound like a lot of fun. Oh well there is always next year.

I just could not get motivated to sign up. I did manage to get sick on Sunday though so I guess I am suffering the wrath of the gods for not showing up.

Going back to bed now.
