Walked out of work with Eddie the other day, when he opened his side case to get his helmet, I saw this

He had taken the factory hold down straps off and ran split rings(key rings) tru the four strap holders at each corner of the bag. Then simply clipped the bungees to the key rings. I think its a great idea, I always getting those straps in the cracks when I close the case. Total cost $00.00 had ever thing I needed laying around the garage, altho I will replace the standard bungees with mini's think they will work better.

I'm wondering why he had to strap his lid in while parked????? Theft protection? Was it gonna run away? Gay? :lol:

Airboss knew you didn't need any straps to secure a helmet in the sidebags. He was just using the white helmet as contrast to highlight the bungees. "Yeah, that's the ticket."

That's a good idea - my stupid velcro on the stock straps bit the dust some time ago...

Good cheap idea, and keeps helmet from falling down into side of hard bag, when opened. Got any more low buck ideas?
