Anybody find lower bars for an 08 FJR? and

what is a preference for a "sport" windscreen?

I see sport windscreens are available but I have not found any shorter bars.

I haven't looked for lower bars, but I do use Cee Bailey for shields. They cut my last one in Opaque Black and only 13" tall in the center. They will cut it at your preference, but will not take it back. It looks great on my '08 and works well down in the heat and all the way up just knocks the wind off the chest! My head is still in a calm, clean air!

Wow !!! No one that I recall has ever asked that question. Seems as though we have all kinds of contraptions to raise the bars. I guess your looking for more on the style of a sportbike. I could be wrong but I don't think there is anything available. Interesting concept tho.

Same shield but stock 15" shorty hgt. Love it as my summer shield too.

When I bought my 2005 in May it came with a stock screen and a larger one. I cut the stock down to where it is 9 1/2" tall and works great for warm weather, and in Savannah GA that is 9 months of the year.

On my 2009 C14 i put on speigler LSL sportbike bars and it made the handling 1000% better. I see they show a set for the Gen I FJR, not sure if they would fit the GEN II or III but it does lower the handlebars.
