For those not familiar, every year, a small contingent of US riders heads over to Macau, China to race against an international field. This race isn't held on some extravagant, well groomed and manicured, smooth as silk racetrack, rather, it's held on the streets of Macau - guardrails and all.
A buddy of mine ran this race twice and, in 1994, was the highest finishing American and finished 4th overall (he was on a 4-stroke superbike, top 3 were on 500cc 2-stroke GP bikes).
They run just about everything at the Macau GP - touring cars, open wheel cars, scooters
