magnetic tank bags

this topic title and description sort of says it all.

I have a magnetic tank bag that I like a lot. I like detaching the tether and taking it with me into stops on the road instead of unhooking a bag. I've ridden with my digital camera inside and never noticed a problem. Well, come to think of it the camera that I carried in there had an internal battery and it failed. Camera still works if plugged into the battery charger into the outlet. hmmmm....

Anyway, anyone out there have a verified failure to report where the magnets of the tank bag caused an ipod or digital camera to not work?

no proplems with my mp3 player for the last3 years

Have carried my cellphone in a belt case that has an magnetic closure for quite some time, ...& the magnet is right up against the phone in this case, FWIW no issues to date w/ either the phone or the camera function.
