Sorry, I meant you can still send money to people. Paypal makes it seem like you have to give them a bank acct in order to really use their service.
Obviously, they can (do) mess up, but your liability will be limited.
To be clear: I really do hate paypal, which is why I'd never give them a bank acct number.

It took a day to get my Reno group rate code email after I paid my $10.
I wasn't too concerned since I thought the block of rooms for the group were already gone at this point.
I posted earlier that I got a room for $161/night at the Reno Hilton.
Just for "what the hell, it's worth a toll-free call?" I gave them a ring to see if any group rooms were still left.
They let me keep my same room/reservation but updated the price from $161 to $79 :yahoo:
More $$ back into the farkle budget

Ever hear Big Head Todd and the Monsters' rendition* of "Boom, Boom, Boom"?
Best version I've ever heard, but then, John Lee himself is doing the vocals, and probably adding a little guitar to Todd Mohr's virtuosity. It's in my "Bump Skiing" playlist on the iPod, and serves regular duty at the beginning of a ride in the twisties -- just to get the senses in the right place, you know. :yahoo:
* Not sure you can call it a "cover" when the original singer/songwriter is featured with the band.
