Wednesday 3/16. https://www.swaviator.com/html/issueAM00/burgerAM00.html One of the very best restaurants up on Arizona's Mogollon Rim is the Crosswinds Grille at the Payson Regional Airport.

Pilots flying around our American Southwest discovered this fine restaurant many years ago and we bikers came across it about a dozen years ago.  Papa Chuy and KennyH will lead you up out of Metro Phoenix to the pines of Northern Arizona.  We will meet up at 0930 at the Chevron Fuel Station on the East side of the Beeline Highway - Arizona Route 87, just across the road from the Fort McDowell Indian Casino.  Kickstands will be up at 0945 and we'll depart the desert floor.  You can be back at your Valley Casa by 3 pm.

For more information contact Don "Papa Chuy" Stanley at either [email protected] or call me on my cellphone number of 480-440-4666.

Don, The ride from Fountain Hills to Payson takes about an hour. So, what is the rest of the ride itinerary? Or will that be decided at ride time? Just curious.

Jim, it can be whatever you want it to be. Just throw out a route suggestion to the group at lunch and I'm sure someone will join you. I'm heading back to my house after lunch, I've got my pre-Mexico ride bike maintenance to do that evening.

Great turnout yesterday, 16 riders on fifteen bikes; Son Seth (14) was packing behind DaddyDon on our BMW R1150RT "Ingrid". All bikes were Beemers, except for three Yamaha FJR 1300's. Food was great, plentiful and the conversation was wonderful. Next Geezers ride is Devil's Highway on April 27, overnighting in Alpine, AZ.

A great ride! An absolutely beautiful day!

Eileen, Crazy Cooleyman, and I enjoyed a spirited ride back via Pine, Strawberry, and Hwy 260 to Camp Verde.

Life is good.
