Question,

I happen to be in New Jersey on business and had a few free minutes today so I stopped by a motorcycle shop close by. They had a Marsee 28 litre Mr High Pockets magnetic tank bag, the price was mismarked for $99.95 and they gave me an additional 10% off because I told them I was from out of state (they were absolutly idiots). Anyway, I picked it up and got the hell out of there fast. I am anxious to know if it will fit on the FJR well? If anyone knows I would appreciate the info. I wasn't going to get one, but couldn't pass up this screaming deal! Any info would be great?

what store? I want one!

Oh, and I landed a Marsee bag at a fraction of the cost, too. I ordered a quick-disconnect rocket bag for my K12S and they sent me a Corona model instead!!! The first is about $125 the second is $275!

Marsee bags are awesome. Unfortunately the corona mount doesn't fit on the FJR.

I bought their last one, if you want I'll go back at the end of the week to see if they have more. On their website they want $183 plus shipping. Will it even fit or is it too big?

If they have more we can work something out.

Jeffrey,

I got a Marsee 15L Teardrop last year. With the 276C and Roady II, mounted on the handlebars, it is a tight fit. I could probably move the bag back a couple of inches if I were to lose a few pounds. That said, I ran into a couple from Kansas, at last year's EOM and he had a huge tankbag. He said he head to get it set just right, or he hit it with the bars.

I can't comment about the fitting of a large Marsee bag, as I have one of the smaller ones. But I can tell you the quality of the Marsee products is exceptional. I've had two ( one on another bike ) and loved them both.
