BUT we are, indeed, below the Mason-Dixon line. That does not put us in the South. During the Civil War which ended 140 years ago the Mason-Dixon Line became a convenient line of demarcation. Maryland was a divided state in that half were Southern sympathizers and half were Northern symapathizers (see Barbara Fritchie, immortalized in poetry, who lived in Frederick Maryland). Ancient and arbitrary bounderies don't define a region. Virginia, on the other hand, is very much a Southern state.

I'm stuck in Southern DE, and it's sort of a toss-up also between South and NE.

I'm not sure we have enough to make Mid-Atlantic.. I know there are at least 3 other FJR's near me, but I don't think any of them are on the board.
