The very last Model Ts, last year or so, were offered with an electric self-starter.
They, Model Ts, also had something-like electronic ignition (magneto) but with no contact points/distributor. The replacement Model A had points/distributor that cars continued to have for decades.
The Model T also had an 'automatic transmission' (of sorts) -- the driver did need to operate it (in that regard, kind'a like an 'AE') .
The Model A successor had a 'barbaric' manual transmission....
Early Fords, generally (IMO), are a lot of fun -- interestingly innovative (at least thru the '30s).
