San Francisco Giants Pitcher Matt Cain pitched a perfect game tonight against the Huston Astros, for a 0-10 win, the complete game shut out had no walks, 14 strikeouts. This is the first perfect game in the NY/SF Giants history. Film at 11:00.

Is that the one with the fair ball that was called foul and, since there's no video replay rule, gave him a debated perfect game?

No, this happened last night, against the Astros.

Cain only faced 27 batters with 14 strike outs.

A true perfect game

Umm . . . yeah. That woulda been the Mets.

Go figure. Mets finally get their first no-hitter after 50 years and the Giants have to go and upstage them.

Congrats to Cain and the team.

This is the first hitter for the Giants Franchise, 130 years from the New York Gotham's/Giants-San Francisco Giants. It was a spectacular event!

Yup, and only has happened 22 times in the history of MLB. From the time Matt started pitching in that game I knew this was going to be a good game but good turned into great! It was so great their doing a replay of the game as I type tonight....awesome! PM. :yahoo:
