Got the SS1K down in 19 hours. In no small part to Renegade. Thanks for the trip planning and company on the ride. I know I would have gotten lost without your gps in the fog. (P.S. That'll teach ya to show up at the meeting place 3 hours early :p )

Now for the paper work.

Congrats, there fencer-man! So how bad was it? Really? Would you do it again?

Yeah, that fog was facked...

When we started into Boone around midnight for the last hour or so we couldn't see oh, about 50 feet in front of us. What really sucked was when two cops came hauling ass up behind us... We both were wondering what the hell we had done  , specially cause we couldn't see crap...

Roads weren't marked worth a dayum and to top it off, apparently 421 had been improved quite a bit since my GPS maps were made so it thought were were riding in never, never land... Quite the adventure that last hour but we made it...

:)

Or rather Fencer did... I only participated in 700 miles of it, with a 1.5 hour nap at the rendezvous point

Good job Fencer. Did you do it on the stock seat?
Yes and no. a stock seat with a gel insert

Stock ass? Or does that also have implants? :D
OEM equip here. I think my ass is the only thing that isn't fat (kinda out of sink with the rest of my bod, I got "c" cups on the chest and "a"s on the rear) I'll tell ya, by the time I got home from EOM I could use some inserts for padding.

FJRFencer,

Congrats!! I am glad to see that after all the back and forth planning the ride that you were able to actually do the SS.

I am heading out to Denver this weekend (from Nashville, TN) and am still debating whethr I will do an IB ride, or simply take my time.
