Does anyone have a McCruise control installed on a gen II FJR with a Corbin riders seat? One component of the cruise control is supposed to fit under the seat. The corbin requires the underseat adjustment bracket to be removed, so the seat must take up that space. I'm not sure how big the McCruise part is that fits down there--whether there is still room for it. Spoiled Biker who sells them was not sure. Thanks in advance to anyone who may know this.
I installed my actuator up near the right front frame area by the horns. I drilled an tapped the frame to secure it in place. I'll try to get you pictures tonight wher my system sets. I also have the PAIR block off plates installed, which gives you more room to place the cable interface sitting on top of the valve cover. (I storngly suggest doing the PAIR plate block off mod with the cruise install) My PC V & autotune are setting above the heat shield under the gas tank. They are out of the way and works very well there and saves you the under seat space.
When you do the diagnostic, is is common to get the polarity of the clutch switch backwards in the set up and calibration step. McCruise teh support is awesome. I utilized it through email and they were very responsive. Keep in mind they are in Australia so there is a day delay.

Up close of the actuator. Not it does not touch anything, the braket had to be bent to the shape it is to hold it in place. The cable goes forward under the battery in a smooth arc and back through the frame next to the ABS hoses to get back the area above the valve cover.

Hope this helps. The main thing is to take your time and route everything carefully without any sharp bends. The manual talks about lubing the cables - make sure you follow it, it does make a difference in how the system operates.
