I have a similar pair of Kevlar pants, I only got them for the coveted Kevlar label so I can race at my local track. My pants are heavy and hot. I would expect the ones you are looking at to be this way too.

I'm blessed to have never 'road tested' them for function. Since my pants are a different brand I can't speak to fit. My Kevlar pants are a looser, comfortable fit compared to jeans.

I have, unfortunately, road tested "Draggin' Jeans"...as far as abrasion protection is concerned, I had no road rash from my AR getoff last fall. So I can attest to that brand.

I still have them...as a backup for my Tourmaster pants for short trips if I choose.

I have a pair of Shift Lo Down jeans. I like the way they look. Most would not notice them as motorcycle jeans (baggy jeans are popular). :)

They are too Hot to wear for me in the 90+ range. I use my overpants without liner for the above 90 weather.

My thoughts,

Dave
