So I ask Yvonne if she wants to open up her gift now (pictures of a newly re-wallpapered master bath back home in TX) a day before Christmas and she says, "Why not, you already got your motorcycle for your Christmas." [gulp] "But that was suppose to be for the both of us, remember." "Yeah, but you're in TX getting to ride it." Me: "[Heavy sigh] :D "

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year wishes to everyone from Yvonne and I.

Merry Christmas, all!

And just what the HECK am I doing in the forum at 9AM Christmas morning?

Well, my kids--all teenagers--are still sleeping. So I guess that 'splains it, Lucy.

BTW, what's everyone getting for the Blue or Gray Rocketship for Christmas? I'm getting a radar detector, some Icon motorcycle jeans, and some shin protectors (like a baseball catcher) to wear under them or my regular jeans. I think that's it.... :)

I wish my kids would hurry up and wake up!

Merry Christmas All!!!

I got this in an email this morning and laughed a bit.

Holiday Greetings to Everyone!

I wanted to send some sort of holiday greeting to my friends, but it is so difficult in today's world to know exactly what to say without offending someone. So I met with my attorney yesterday, and on his advice I wish to say the following:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, nonaddictive, gender neutral celebration of the summer solstice holiday, practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great (not to imply that the Seychelles is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms:

This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

Disclaimer: No trees were harmed in the sending of this message; however, a significant number of electrons were slightly inconvenienced.

My blue lover received a day at the PM Spa, complete with new plugs, synthetic lube rubdowns, TBS and various other amenities appropriate for a young, fast girl of 20,000. She also received some LED diamonds to adorn her beautiful ass-end.

Merry Christmas one and all. I honestly don't care if I'm politically correct or not. If good wishes offend you then you shouldn't be riding an FJR. Good motorcycles are for good people.

Everyone please ride safe, ride often and don't drink too much 93-octane this week.

:)

P.S. Jim, glad you are outta the dog house. We'll wait until Jan. 2nd to start another round of jokes and watch Lori kick you to the curb again.

My lovely bride got me a Skyway hydration kit to put where her foot used to go. I'm too selfless to get anything for my bike, at least not until the next group buy comes around.
After all, I'll need something to insure that I'm carrying no substitute passengers, right?

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

Most of all, my friend & recent former co-worker Buster. He retired after 29 years on the job 10 days ago, and his wife passed away Saturday. :( Not much Merry & Happy in that situation. Count your blessings.
