Now if you can get her to dress in drag and get some pics, I might be interested.
Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but I don't think females can dress in drag, can they?

You tell me--

Is it or isn't it? Only TDub knows for sure....

And then there's--

fjrchooser, as for the fuel choice - it was the same. I almost always fill up at chevron. Filled it in a different town, but chevron just the same.

You mentioned that it was a balmy 85 degrees. The mileage will improve as the temperature increases. The colder it is, the lower the fuel mileage on a FI bike.

Just a thought.

+1 on the 7000 mile mark, avg about 46-48mph, loaded bags combined with my weight makes it pretty much close to the max load. Happy as a bee, since gas here in OC went up to $2.77.

I almost always get higher MPG with a passenger, out of respect for them I refrain from riding like a ****. Solo riding is more often conducted in attack mode, low MPG is one sign of a good ride!

Yeah, gaps.....a good ride....in between the sheets. A good ride is when your ampg is lower then 30. Sightseeing is for lovers. I'll take it easy if I want to get laid. Otherwise...I only check the rearview for cops.

I pretty much ride it the same whether alone or with the little wife on back. I added a back rest for her after one launch from a stop sign that promptly placed her knees under my armpits. At least now she knows she's not going to sumersault off the rear.

Oh, I ride the same on the motorcycle too.

I remember riding behind a friend of mine on a harley ( he and his girlfriend were on a ducati). He pulled the front wheel up and she started sluggin him in the ribs.....HARD. It was funny for me, scary for her, and painful for him.

The little wife loves the speed and acceleration. She's not fond of the thought of doing a back flip into a huge pile of road rash, though. The backrest gives her that confidence. She has actually become quite good at anticipating the twist reflex of my right wrist.

She actually admited to me that she used to take naps on the back of our old Goldwing. NO MORE! She's WIDE AWAKE now!

I had a girl fall asleep on me on my harley....once. The burning on her foot from the pipes woke her up. Then again......she was loaded....love them strippers. We had fun.

Being the good and dedicated husband that I am, I have introduced my lovely better half to new and different experiences...Like what a bug impact feels like at 105 mph!

One comment..One question...1st:............................ Rad your a sick puppy .......(don't stop)...Question...if one where to use a screen like the California Scientific..would there be less drag (quiet Rad) because of the holes in the screen to reduce back pressure?? Seriously..no really...it's an honest question

Properly engineered, those little holes would actually provide thrust !

I know this is true , otherwise space aliens would have to tow an oil tanker behind the mother ship to get here and how often do you see that ? :alien:
