So I am sitting here having a beer watching the world go by. When a guy (unknown) on a blue '05 come riding down the street. I wave and he smiles back. I can tell he is smiling because he was NOT wearing his helmet! His BABE was! He had full leathers on w/riding boots. But the woman was wearing the helmet! How often has this happened to you? I'll admit to MANY! ) One of the best reasons to ride without a lid... BTW. The female pillion was wearing a skirt that was flying in the wind....(if you know what I mean???) ) I would be smiling too!

Let me guess...right off of where bob's java hut is.....but, pray tell....where did you get the beer?

Couple weeks ago I passed a FJR in afternoon traffic (they were heading south, i was heading north) on Hwy 100. Always exciting, and couldnt react, since was stop and go. If you see a 06 around St. Louis Park, it could be me! :D

Where in MN??
Long Lake Road, New Brighton

I haven't been to Bob's yet this year. In fact I haven't ridden as much this as last. I bought a new car and it is good to have a good car with speakers that work! And everything else for that matter. It was a used car (barely) A 2003 Cadillac DeVille w/10K miles for $18,000. Not that I don't love the FJR but it has been wet and cold... How can you blame me? :) I am riding tomorrow. And have a deal where I need to ride the bike 2 days for every day in the Cadillac. So far I owe 6 weeks worth! :)

John

Been wet and cold? I have over 2000 miles on this year, all in warm, dry conditions. Same area (you didn't move to Northern Sconnie, did ya? Winter Storm Warning there tonight-that I might buy) So, ain't buyin that line John. You had us at Cadillac. Perfect for meetin's at the lodge, eh? Admit it, age has finally made you realize the Feej is just too much machine for ya. AARP won't insure it? The Viagra woody kinda sore up against the tank? Pacemaker goes into overdrive anything past 7 grand? You've gone to the dark side, haven't ya? John, John, John........... :p

Edit-it wasn't me. Gave up on skirts after seeing WC in a kilt. I know when I'm beat.... ;)

I actually have nearly 1000 miles on the bike this year... But I haven't been commuting with it. Don't worry about this old man... No Viagra yet (although I would try it if Radman would just give me one of his!) :)

John

Well, I've got a little over 3,500 miles on this spring in MN mostly commuting to work. It looks like we could see a bit of snow in the morning. I am doubting I'll see too many other bikes on the way to work tomorrow :)

Yeah my parental units were telling me that it was supposed to get really cold last night. They were gonna bring the flowers in. But snow?? Wow. Didn't hear about that one.

As far south as Mille Lacs. Just in time for opener. Yet the boats were lined up this am like it was the 4th weekend.
