Did it! Got my SaddleSore cert. The guys at Minuteman Rally put on a great ride, had 73 total riders at the SS1k and the 24 hour Rally. Depending on where you were there was some significant rain. I'm still trying to catchup on my sleep. :yahoo:I'm riding my first SS1k next weekend...anyone else from here going?

Check out www.rallythevoid.orgwaiting sucks...I wish there was a ss1000 rally closer than another ss1000 to get to the nearest one
Would have been alot harder without my WB highway pegsCongrats on the ride - pretty amazing how long one can stand on the pegs while underway, huh?
I paid a rally fee ($125 I think) that included dinner and brunch and if you complete the run you get your pins plate etc at the awards brunch. The rider was free to pick the route they wanted to take as long as the 'four corners' were covered. The ride included over 300 miles of secondary roads because there are no east/west interstates across New England. I will take a pic tonight after work and post it up.I just sent in my documentation todayThat would have been a great idea Mike...where were you before my ride? did you pay the $45 for the "package" ???
with the package, did you get the double plate with IBA on top and SS1000 on bottom
that's the plate I want

That might not work because New England riders think that a bike with over 5k miles is shot... :blink:pls post a pic or twoso I can mount my plate tonight. :yahoo:
maybe mount it or another on the old bike and RIDE IT AROUND...bike nights...poker runs...etc. :clapping:
Guilty.Congrats on the ride - pretty amazing how long one can stand on the pegs while underway, huh?
Yes, there were a few places. We had over 300 miles of secondary roads. I could do without seeing New Haven or Hartford in the middle of the night again.Congratulations! Did you see anyplace that would want to visit again other than a bathroom or a gas station?
