mirrors

Just thought i'd throw this out & see what others here feel about this:

I notice that when scanning my mirrors, that i get too much of me, the rider, in the view & i have to move my arms in to get get a better view behind me. Seems to be more so on the right side mirror.

If iI try to move them further out, eigther it at its max wide view or i loose directly behind me.

Its as if the mirrors would work better if they were positioned farther out on both sides.

Any fix for this or am I alone with this one ?

The Yamaha FZ-1 mirrors are a perfect swap for the stock FJR ones. They have longer stalks so you get a better view.

I believe the FZ-1 mirrors only worked on the 2003-2005 bikes.

There was discussion here that someone was going to custom make a spacer to go under the 2006 mount that would move them out another inch. I'm interested, but it isn't bad compared to other rides I've had.

We are fortunate to have the many perfectionist-engineering types here that make the FJR world a better place for all! :clapping:
