What the hell happened to Pedrosa? Was that false start on him or what? Also getting taken out by Hector in the first lap! I was looking forward to a great battle for first, but Lorenzo was in his own zipcode. Nice to see Rossi get podium!

I see by this article what happened to Pedrosa. Really unfortunate. https://www.motogp.com/en/news/2012/Pedrosa+Misano+Race

After that first lap the race was pretty much a parade, save for a couple of tucked fronts, but there wasn't a whole lot of passing and jockeying.

Moto2 was another story, though! Several incredible passes in that race, especially through the last couple of laps. You guys ought to be watching Moto2 if you aren't!

What I've read, there was a yellow flag on the start but most everybody jumped. When they came back they put on warmers and when they took them off, Pedrosa had a locked brake. Whisked him into the paddock but he didn't make it out before the safety car showed up so he had to start at the back instead of the pole. Sucks for him because he'd have not gotten taken out by Hector if he'd have been up front.

Looking forward to catching up on Moto2 later this week. That's been the series to watch all season...or well....since they started it. Who knew after all the complaining about changing the 250's and the complaining about the rules that it'd be the most fantastic racing you can find on TV? I hear if you can catch the Moto3 stuff, it's every bit as good.

Yes the Moto2 race was much more fun to watch. Lots of lead changes and battling down to the finish line!
