It's amazing how far you can lean a KLR. Thats why MM2s has 45degree angles on the bottom of the boxes. I ground the corner off the right one and went home and cut the angles before I rode it again.

I've noticed that, and I haven't yet hit the peg scrapers, which at first seemed out of place on a bike that looks more like a dirt bike than a street bike. One other thing -- I LOVE how responsive it is to footpeg pressure in paved sweepers or twisties.
