No..

Using this oil, I rarely change before 4500 miles, but rarely wait much more than 6000 miles

Is this the heir to the red cap? what weight is the gold cap? All I have seen is 5/30.

I think very few use synthetic oil to extend intervals - instead, it's just to provide better protection during the normal 4K intervals.

M1 is available in a wide variety of weights, but 15W/50 is the one most often used in bikes.

Well, Duh... it's slickery-er.... and has better viscositudinal properties... since it's engineered that way and not just liquid dinosaur juice.
