modulating headlight story

I ride up next to a Harley thats stopped for the light. I split traffic and come up right next to him. He tells me, "It loolks lke there is something wrong with your lights, the high beams are flashing". I advised him they are supposed to do that. He said well they work, because they sure got my attention.....

Pardon my ignorance here, but have you modified you headlights to modulate or is that an FJR feature that I am not aware of?

The FJR does not come with modulating headlights. Many people add modulators to the headlights, plus extra lighting and various tail light flashers on the back.

My FJR will be 4 years old next week. First thing I put on that bike while it was still being put together at the dealer was Kisan HMs. Got headlight modulators on the CBR929 & DL1000 as well. Works for me.

fergi as ionbeam mentioned I added the Kisan Modulating kit. Easy install...........
