"A Letcher County woman suffered a horrible injury early Thursday when her arm was severed in a car crash on the Mountain Parkway in Clark County.

Jacqueline Dotson and her six-year-old daughter had to be cut out of their vehicle after the accident in which Dotson veered into the median and over-corrected, rolling her truck over the guardrail and landing upside down after flipping several times.

Several people stopped to help, and it turns out, the good samaritans may very well have saved Dotson's life. Sheila Vice, a nurse's aide, and an off-duty EMT from another county stopped to help, and put a tourniquet on Dotson's arm to stop the bleeding. Her arm was found near the accident still clutching a cell phone."

Doctor: Madam it looks like your going to loose the arm.

Patient: Doctor, I don't care about the arm, save the cell phone at all costs!

I watched a women in my rear view mirror the other day for about five miles. She had a cell phone in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other. I swear neither hand touched the steering wheel for aleast 5 miles.

She'll have to buy a "Hands Free" kit now

.....oops, I mean "Hand Free" kit now!

How about the guy driving to work early one morning? No lights on the OUTSIDE but he had the interior light on. Wouldn't have been able to see the crossword he was working on without it, would he?

So while you were watching this woman in the rearview mirror,,,,, Who was watching the road?
come on now give 'em credit for being able to keep the vehicle on the road for five miles while looking out the rear view mirror

Darwin was wrong? Because she managed to survive?

I thought riders who ride without a helmet proved Darwin was RIGHT???

OK, remember, I'm in favor of outlawing use of HANDHELD cell phones while driving, or in movie theaters or in restaurants with waiters and waitresses..
