Bear (grizzley, brown and black) nope

Mt lion -nope

Wolverine -ah ah

Snake - wrong again

Forest Rat - We have a winner. I saw a show stating more people are injured from deer than almost everything else combined. Some from deer attacking hunters/campers. but mostly from impacts with autos. Who knew?

Crash clubbers - thats who :D

That's correct and all the suburbanites think they are so pretty the prevent hunting and the numbers continue to go up

don't get me started

I suspect all of those animals would claim we are the most dangerous. ;)
+1 and IBTL

I've never heard of anybody who got attacked by a deer without initiating the contact. When walking in the forest, I am careful about lions and bears, but I don't worry about deer. I've never seen one move toward me once they realized I was there. Quite the contrary. They want nothing to do with us. They're prey animals, just like rabbits and squirrels. We're the predators.

We propel ourselves at speeds where we can't avoid contact with unexpected obstacles and then blame the obstacles. Not only are we the most dangerous animals on the whole planet, but also the most ignorant (IMHO), given our capacity for higher thought.

It's your job to be smarter than the prey animal. If you can't or won't choose to do that, don't come whinin' to me....

I'm with toecutter on this one.

Unfortuneatly some of the best roads are in their habbitat. We know that and we choose to take that risk and then we want to blame the spooked deer?I live and ride in deer country so I do what I can to decrease the chances of a deer strike-scan the roadsides, avoid certain roads at sunrise and sunset and be extra careful in the fall. But a deer strike could still happen. With the amount of deer I see daily it's almost inevitable. But I accept the odds and I won't blame the deer.

Besides,I can forgive a spooked animal.I have a much harder time forgiving the cellphone addicted idiots and moronic drivers I wittness in and around big cities.
