It's official now - Moto America will be at Barber June 12-14th. If anyone from the Forum plans to roll to Birmingham for the race drop me a line. I can assist you with info re the best areas for hotels and entertainment/restaurants while you are in town. There will be a few of us hanging around the track, going for some local rides and just having a good time!
If you've never been to Barber you truly are missing a spectacle. Not only do you have the races to enjoy that weekend, but of course THE preeminent motorsports museum in the world. To put it into perspective, when George Barber set out to build this masterpiece he was quoted as saying that it was his intention to create "The Augusta" of motorsports racing. For those that have been there I think they'd agree, he accomplished his mission.
