I recently got to watch a 2 disk DVD called "Faster", which is narrated by Ewan McGregor. It is an in depth documentary which covers 01-02 seasons and a bonus dvd included "Faster and Faster" 03-04 seasons of Moto-GP. It gives a great insight into Moto-GP and is packed with facts and interviews from past champions and enthusiasts of the sport.

May not be new to some, but if you haven't seen it, it is well worth a look.

After looking at your link, I found out there are 2 versions available. The version I have is the ultimate collectors edition, not sure of the differences between them.

Ewan McGregor rocks! Have you seen "The Long Way Round"?
Not yet, but it's on my list.

The 2nd version of "Faster" is much better. The 1st one was more or less a VHS-Cassette copied to DVD. The sound was the shi*s. The 2nd is much easier on the eyes and ears. I picked up version 2 at Best Buy. Version 2 is the 2 disc set. In the words of Rossi "FAAAAAAAACK"!!!

Brilliant, didn't know about it, thanks! Just ordered it from Amazon.

"Long Way 'Round" was entertaining TV but when you hear about the crew they hauled around with them, the fact that they had all their gear comped to them and the other behind-the-scenes info, it almost seems as if they were spoon fed.

Compared to a similar trip made by IBA Prez Mike Kneebone and a couple of friends (who did it on Honda Nighthawks and didn't have the mechanical problems that the movie stars did), the difference was day and night.

Kneebone's trio went the opposite direction, passed many of the same places within a week or two of the other group, and heard from the locals about how that other group some times rode in the truck into a nearby town when they decided they were too tired to continue (or other things never revealed on the TV show). Not to mention "going it alone" meant just that to Mike and friends while the McGregor clan had chase vehicles, doctor(s) and a plethora of hangers on just a radio shout away most of the time.

BTW: "Faster" rocks! I have the 1 disc set from their pre-release that helped fund the movie theater release and the 2 disc set.
