Ducati has put up an impressive performance once again, securing 1st (Capirossi) and 3rd (Checa), Rossi came in 2nd and took his 5th consecutive title. With 4 races to go, and with an 123 point lead over Biaggi, currently standing in 2nd place for the championship. F*ckin ace

One wonders what Ducati could have achieved if they sported this kind of muscle earlier in the season... Maybe Rossi wouldn't have had such a walk in the park.

Anyway, after Capirossi, Rossi and Checa came Hayden (4th), Melandri (5th), Biaggi (6th), Roberts Jr (7th), Barros (8th), Hopkins (9th) and Edwards (10th).

Now, the bad news, I heard yesterday that Ferrari offered Rossi a USD 60 million deal for 3 seasons, starting 2007. I'll totally understand if he accepts, it's an ungodly amount of money and I wouldn't even think twice about it, but, c'mon, Formula 1? Watching paint dry is more exciting than that, these days...
