That could be handy here in Michigan right about now... Too bad about the traditionally low engine output and excessive pricing though.

Sometime back I saw a styling design stripped down red Guzzi on the internet that looked ****. I lusted for it until I found it was crippled with only 63 horsepower .

I have a friend with a "Le Mans" and we have fun riding together. He's a very talented and capable rider and carries lots of corner speed with the chassis and suspension of the Guzzi. Don't let the low figures for horsepower put you off. I am spoiled to the speed rheostat we hold in my right hand and sometimes allow that to overcome my lack of skill in other areas (to my own shame). Nuthin' a little practice wouldn't overcome.

Gotta give a thumbs down (for now) to the fairing down by the exhaust tubes. Looks like someone started hacking on the clay and couldn't figure out when to quit. Spoils what otherwise would appear to be a nice bunch of plastic.

The mirrors suck? Maybe. Paint the thing a decent color, like anything but silver, (think gloss black) and the mirrors might look fine.

Jury is out until more numbers are available, and until seeing it in person. 2D pics often don't do justice.

What's up with that name? When I hear 'Norge' I think of my mother's gas dryer that finally broke after 35 years of service..perhaps MG wanted to go with a stodgy name that people associate with durability? Some hidden Italian meaning?

Paging Teerex....

Other models: Breva (wind, IIRC) Griso (bodyguard) LeMans (uh huh) California (whatever, dude) Looked at the specs...same old 88 hp engine (yawn)..Now if they offered it with the 122 hp one from the MGS-01 Corsa & lopped off the bodywork around the motor...

It's easy to see that they took many of their styling cues from the `52 Norge...

And even a picture of actual NORGE !!!

Love it but like the bike too

Not sure about the look of the pipes through the middle of the fairing.
Looking at the pipes it seems the fairing avoids that area due to the possibility of heat from the unshielded pipes burning the fiberglass fairing?

I've never cared for the Guzzi styling in general but that is a good looking bike.Any info on HP,torque, weight etc....?

Glenn
i believe the larger new 1200cc engine makes close to 90 hp. Looks like a competitor to the r1200rt
