My Brother and nephews came down from northern IL for a weekend of motorcycling.
Saturday, my nephew and I did about a 200 mile ride through wine country south/west of St. Louis. It was overcast and cool,but we had a great time! He rode his Buell XB-12SS this time. He also has a Sprint ST and a CRF-450R. Sunday we went to Archview MX park for a great day of MX.
My son and younger nephew both rode in open practices. We were joined by local pro, Jason Hussey #677. Jason has been working with both my son and nephew. My son has been taking more basic MX training. The training for my nephew is more advanced. It's about finding more speed...a second here and there. The weather Sunday was perfect!! Sunny and 60F. The turnout was fantastic with a bunch of fast A riders.
I didn't ride my 250X as I'm nursing a hosed up left knee. Here is a couple of shots. My son #777 is a C class rider on his 09 Crf-250R and my nephew #81 is a A class rider on his 2010 Crf-250R. They are both 16 years old.
