Motorcycle Mat Link:

I am looking for a product to protect the coating on my garage floor. These mats look very nice but are pricy. What other products have forum members used and liked or created on your own. I know we have a very creative group, please share....

(Or kindly point me to the old subject threads)

Thx, Jason

I use a folded cotton drop cloth under my bike. Mostly to keep the centerstand from marking the garage floor and, also, to keep little "pieces-parts" from rolling so far away from the bike while working on it.

Can't get your link to work, but you can get a custom rubber mat made HERE anywhere from $2 to $5 a square foot.

Go to your local auto salvage and pick up a rubber truck bed liner. Trim it down to get rid of the wheelwell cut outs.

Mine was $10.00.

I picked up a piece of "extra" new carpet that was part of new construction in a local home

I use a piece of rubber flooring from an ice rink...it's approx 1/4" in thickness.

Washes up well.

I carry a small piece for the side stand.
