Certifiable Old Fart
I have been using THE "MOTORCYCLE SEAT SHOP" for the last fifteen years. Don does a great job for me.
Yesterday I led DanD and Beth to his shop and Dan is going to have an orthopedic gel insert installed in operator's seat of his BMW R1100RS. A decade ago I had Don install orthopedic gel inserts in both the operator's seat and passenger seat of my BMW R1100GS; it made the original seat actually comfortable.
Recover - Reshape - Repair - Install Gel or Foam. Don just reshaped the passenger seat of the saddle on my Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide, to make it a lot more comfortable for Seth on long rides with Daddy.
For $150, Don added additional foam to the Harley's passenger seat; increasing its width by 4" for Seth.
This also included a completely new black leather cover. And, I got it back in just 1 week's time from Don.
Donna and I are riding the Yamaha FJR1300 to Santa Barbara next weekend. But as soon as we get back, I'm taking those saddles into Don to have orthopedic gel inserts installed in both of them. Happy Buns!!!
