If I were to need m/c tires mounted and balanced in Las Vegas, NV, where would I go to get a decent deal, get the tires mounted and balanced and continue on my way and not have to wait all day. Would be happy to make appointment.

I bought my last set of PR2's from Motorcycle Tire Center. Go in the morning if you can. I was in and out in a little over an hour. Not the greatest price but not the worst either. Call ahead to see what they have in stock.

Motorcycle Tire Center

You can also try Cycle Gear

If your desperate try the dealership on Rancho. Their tire prices are a bit high though....

Let me know if you need other suggestions!!

Another option is Racers Edge, I plan on using them this summer. Their phone is 702-257-3808.

I once had an "emergency" tire swap done at Ride Now Powersports on Sahara. They did quick work and were CHEAP. At the time they didn't charge for the installation if you purchased the tires from them and had them put on during the same visit. On top of that, they had a sale on the Pilot Road tires that I bought so I got out the door for under $240 for both tires installed. Good folks.

That was well over a year ago, so there is no guarantee that you'll get the same deal but it might be worth a shot.

With that said, if you're looking for tires "near" Las Vegas I can get you a smokin' deal at a local shop I frequent. PM me if you want details and are willing to get tires 180 miles southwest of LV.

Eeksnake will give you the ones off his bike. He doesn't ride anymore. :D
While I would certainly give a fellow rider in need the wheels off my ride, it most CERTAINLY isn't because I don't ride anymore. (See what happens when you take a break from the forum?)

I've been using Cycle Gear for awhile. That MotoGuard tire replacement is hard to beat. There are two locations here in Vegas - Decatur & Pecos.

RideNow Powersports may be safe for tires. They usually have Pilot Powers on hand.

Totally forgot about this thread so thanks to all for the info on tires. Bought an FJR off a gentleman in Las Vegas with 5600 miles and thought the tires would probably be toast. They actually had enough rubber left to get me back to Amarillo, Texas the next day so did not have to mount new rubber before I left.

Picked up the bike for Number One Son and now his 06 has less miles than my 08. Sure is fun riding black and blue.

Thanks to all for posting info on tires. Although didn't need them it was nice to have the info just in case.
