+1A big problem is the occasional loose nut holding the handlebars.
'Bout time!
"Giving evidence to the committee, transport author Stephen Plowden said he could not see why anyone needed a bike with a top speed of more than 65 mph."
...or a computer with more than 64Mb of ram.
A lot of nice sweeping curves along that stretch, they were probably pushing the envelope . . .I swear there must be some kind of force field on the Blue Ridge Parkway that caps Harleys at about 35mph. I don't know how many times I've come upon a herd of them just poking along :angry2:
They never said anything about how fast you can go from 0 to 65!"Giving evidence to the committee, transport author Stephen Plowden said he could not see why anyone needed a bike with a top speed of more than 65 mph."
I find it interesting that they mention the amount of accidents with deaths and serious injuires on motorcycles and they want to cap the speed capabiltiy. What percent were the riders fault? I work in a claims department and I would say less than 25% are the riders fault the other 75% are the idiots that shouldn't be driving cars.
