Must be something in the water lately for wildlife to be going after us humanoids. I've been working on securing a campsite in the Payson, AZ area for later this month and three of them in the area have been closed due to bear attacks. Bear attacks Come to think of it these may not have anything to do with the water, but more with retaliation for the animal cruelty caused by Beemerdon's Photoshop jobs, most recently on Orcas. Just a thought.... :p

Auburn? I had a starbucks there! I didn't know it was so dangerous! :assassin:
Dangerous. And expensive (I prefer the $1 McCafe from Mickey D's).

Holy HELL. Now it's mountain lions! And me planning a solo camping trip after the FJRay RTE in a couple months. Please don't mention this again.
From reading the article looks like it was not a serious attack. The cat was just looking for an easy meal. Probably just checking

to see if the camper was dead. Maybe the camper had a snickers in his pocket. ;)

TV news showed his sleeping bag, uffda it was well tore up.

Dept. of Fish & Game did dna testing. It was a female lion that did the attack, they want to hunt it down now that she thinks humans may taste good.

Hey Wheatie, wanna go on a big game safari?

I always think its interesting that we're stupid enough to spend the night, build a house, take a hike, or whatever in their back yard and then have the audacity to act surprised when a human gets attacked, or some stupid Chihuahua becomes lunch.

Here's an idea: stop breeding like cockroaches, stop encroaching on their space, and stop destroying their habitat and maybe they'll stop wanting to eat us.

Honestly...Some d-bag plops down a sleeping in the middle of mountain lion territory, gets a shiner for it, and now we need to go kill the lion? Who was the dumb ass in this scenario? It wasn't the lion.

I agree. It wasn't (a) lion. It was a puma.

Next time pay him the royalties for the use if his name on all that athletic gear and he might not be so angry.
