Looks like Photo shop... If you get a flat it will only cost $10,000 for a new one.... LOL These have been made before. But with some of the same technology as the Segway has, I think this is something that could really work one day in the future.. We might laugh now but think of HOW MANY THINGS we might have thought where crazy and smirked at 20-40-60 years ago..... Just watched a show on how close they are to a real "lazer gun"... who woulda thunk ? LOL

One day, this might be the BOMB !

Back in the late '60s I was in a motorcycle shop in California when Nate Topalar, the Rocky Cycle Supply sales rep., came in with two aftermarket (Lester or Akront?) cast motorcycle wheels (no wire-spokes). He set them on the counter and said, "This is the future of motorcycling." Everyone in the shop just laughed at him -- nobody would put those things on their bike...!

It took a while, 10~15 years, but they've pretty much become the standard.

Except in some rare instances: I know three guys who've purchased new BMW R1200GSs (which come with cast wheels) and they've paid many more $$$ to have wire-spoke wheels installed.

I asked them why -- but, really didn't get a good answer. Something between: 'BMW doesn't make good cast wheels' and 'Everybody's doing it...'?
