move trunk forward

this ought to get some real responses.

has anyone ever tried to move the trunk foreward,with a modified bracket,so that it dosent stick up so high and so far back ?

the fjr trunk is huge,would sacifice some of rear seat,but if you ride solo it dosent matter.

should be some interesting posts on this matter

I have mine mounted so I can move it rearward of forward.

Here's a picture with it rearward with a "tail pack" mounted for extra traveling storage.

Here's one with it mounted in the forward position.

Of course, the "Tanji" fuel cells are a little difficult to come by and he didn't make any for the Gen II.

Nevertheless, a clever person could engineer the brackets and....... :blink:
