Yep...that's Britney alright...not sure if she is 'white trash'....comes close sometimes. I would not want her as a role model if I had a daughter, but since I have two boys I think she is a nice distraction :D

Easy on the eyes

I'll take a few of those first. Thank You

Looks real good if you like Plastic Jugs. In the cage I listen to Soft Jazz Seattle area 98.9. It keeps me relaxed and out of the Road Rage Zone. On the MC I get my own rhythm going engine gears for the whole head clearing thing. TJ

What, no one likes Montevani, Lawernce Welk or Liberace any more?

And TJ, If I ever hear you humming Kenny G tunes, I WILL kill you dead! :assasin: :p

Ever hear of "Walter Trout"? This guy is one of the greatest Blues guitarists in the world. If you're into Stevie Ray, Gary Moore, Buddy Guy, Tinsley Ellis etc. you'll love his stuff. Definately speeding ticket music!

Bananas!

My favorite is Pink Floyd, Yes, Rush and the other classics, but Peal Jam and Staind are good to listen too on the road for a change of pace.

NO ONE else listens to the flecktones? Am I really that odd? :sleepy: These guys have won grammys in more catagories than uhm.. well, i can't think of an example, but you get my point. They are one of the greatest collection of musicial talent you will ever find, at least worth a listen. If you live anywhere near a live show, it's a definate must!!!

:coolio:Bela Fleck and the Flecktones :coolio:

For spirited riding, no tunes. I'm using up all my $10 worth of attention span for the task at hand while enjoying the tunes of the FJR and "listening" (and feeling) for feedback from the road, tires and brakes, etc.

Commuting or droning down the super slab, I have several categories I load into my mp3 player, usually two at a time, depending on the mood: Audio books (non fiction only), Southern Rock (Allman Bros, Marshall Tucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.) Rock: Stones, Zep, Doors, Bob Seger, etc. or any of the newer stuff like AFI, Good Charlotte, Jimmy Eat World, Linkin Park, Trapt...

Colin, Dream Theater? Wow, haven't heard them in ages. :)

Some good suggestions and links in some of your posts. Thanks.

Those of you on the north eastern seaboard (like me) enjoy this fantastic weather today!

letzroll....

yeah, finally checking back on this thread for speaker recommendations....

DT: totally into them. some of their new stuff is a big different.... more epic-y. I'm pretty into some of the side projects from them....

Liquid Tension Experiment is fantastic for instrumental prog rock. lots of great improvs they record....

John Petrucci & Jordan Rudess have a CD of a small concert they gave. Nothing like the rest of DT.... pretty jazzy, and ridiculously interesting music. I'm not a musician by any stretch of the imagination, but cool stuff for me.....

Depends on my mood but:#1 Country Music (Real Country Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Farren Young, Sons of the Pioneers, ect... Notthis stuff they call country nowadays) which is also the #1 reason I got XM, there are no country stations in LA! XM channel 13.

#2 Classic Rock, XM channel 46.

#3 Radio Dramas, XM 163 & 164.

#4 What ever else I may be in the mood for.
I find that I can not listen to the XM channels that have the commercials on them like the comedy channel and the dramas......

MOTOGOD

She seems quite down to earth a bit on the silly side and spoilt but I have seen worse.. The bloke she is married to is a ******* show pony always hanging **** on her and tries to be intelligent but fails!

Who or what is a Britney Spears ? :D

Doesn't sound important.

Music wise, on long trips, I dig classical. It turns my ride into a "Looney Tunes" adventure. I make sure Wile E does not catch me.
