Muth signal mirrors

Had an uncle contact me about Muth turn signal mirrors. He's considering putting them on him Goldwing and had heard the blue tinted mirrors reduce glare better than the standrad mirror. Has anyone used these? If so, can you verify the claim that the blue tint is better than the standard mirror? There's a little bit of a price difference, however, he's more concerned with clarity/functionality and aesthetics than with price.

Had them on my K1200LT. Great product, great vendor. Stood behind them when I had a minor nit. Keeps the cages off the bow and that's a GOOD thing. Wish them made custom units for the FJR.

I dunno, my jacket does a pretty good job of reducing glare, especially since I can't see behind me without shifting my body

Perhaps. I wonder if it's really big enough or bright enough to get the potentially offending cager's attention. I mean, if they ignore your other turn signals why would they see these?

Sometimes I forget to cancel my turn signal, and those might help.

Plus I like fish eye mirrors.

I had them on my LT and they were sweet. Mine were blue tinted and they

made the sky pretty when I looked in them. I am convinced they make

a big difference in safety.

First thing I did when I got the FJR was to go to the Muth site to get them

for the FJR...NO DICE :angry:

Anyone have the wide angle ones on stock FJR mirrors? Seems like they'd take up most of the mirror surface.

I have the non-tinted Muths on my 'Wing. Never had a problem with glare, day or night.
