Okay then, I've never laced wheels before and it was easy. The first wheel I had instruction. The second wheel I did alone in about 12 minutes.

Getting them true is the science, so I hear. I'm taking them in and my buddy at the dealership is gonna help me with their cool machine. I have a feeling I'll be good at this stuff.

I'm tempted to working Saturdays at the dealership just for fun. Nah. Well?? Maybe.

I'm looking forward to swapping the 17s for the 21/18 wheels and taking the DRZ through the Sierra mud. I should get some pretty good ride reports from this.

You'll never have a better learning environment, for sure. Plus, an added benefit, and one I have insisted on, or I wouldn't take the position, is the ability to use the shop during the off hours for personal work.

That would probably be pretty easy considering who the Maintenance Manager is: a good friend of mine. Hmm...I don't really want to dork up my weekends, but it's better to keep learning than to just sit still.
