Yesterday the INs co told me the checks are on the way for my bike to be fixed.

Total for bike and gear to be turned around is. $5,989.00 for bike and $1,500 for gear. $7,489.00 for the whole tamale

I spoke to South Valley motorsports and they said I can have anything I want done. The quote included an all new exhaust system. The Stock system comes to almost 2K. I am having a complete Holeshot system put on instead. It is less money and what I want anyway

I want my bike back and they said they will start in about two days on the bike now that they have a green light.

I am excited !!

On a side note GMAC Insurance is GREAT!!! They have been greeat all the way through this. !!

Nice to hear a good insurance story now and then. Maybe I missed the thread describing the crash. Were you hurt? Hopefully getting the bike fixed is your biggest concern. Good luck with the repair and mods.

Yeah...he got a bump on the noggin' that caused him to get married.

He and Kenra lowsided on a freeway onramp. Bike just slid out in some sand/gravel. Their gear "gave it's all" for them but the bike is rashed pretty good.

My Crash thread

Did not even think about it. Above is a link to my crash thread complete with pictures. Yes the grear did its job in a big way

Now that is funny! ....Sorry :) I hope that doesn't happen to me when I crash
Yea, that was funny LMAO

Well, hopefully your bike will come out better than before the rash. Glad both of you are doing well also. Will you be able to ride it after the repairs or into hibernation?

I ride all year long as long as the roads are not snowpacked

New 12 step program coming out

"Hi my name is Robin and I am an FJR Addict"

The room responds

"Hi Robin"

Just don't crash.... thats my plan!
Isn't that everybody's plan? It was mine, yet it happened. . . . :glare:

Not quite as big-time as this one, very slow low-side, but also a good insurance story. The Progressive adjuster went around my bike for an hour looking for stuff to buy.

Again Congrats on getting married. Did your shock come through OK, to me it appeared that it was saved? I saw your bike down at South Valley and appears that the right can caught the brundt of things along with the fairings. Did they check the rear subframe for any tweaks or damage?

yea. They checked it over pretty good. I am putting on a complete new holeshot system. Headers and all. I will actually have some dough left since the stock rig is mondo more money. Shock is fine I. With 33 feet of snow ok the ground this morning it is no

a huge hurry :)

No **** with the snow, in the last week I have driven my snowblower more than the Fjr, damn!
