My plan for a day trip based in Vegas

I have a day to kill in Las Vegas later this month and here's what I have planned. Any thoughts?

The route will take me to the following places:

Dixie National Forest (UT) (St. George – Nevada border area…bottom of the page on this link)

Cathedral Gorge State Park (NV)

Snow Canyon State Park (UT)

Lake Mead National Recreation Area (NV)

(NOTE: This link says that it’s in AZ, but I’ll be seeing the NV side)

Total distance is approximately 440 miles.

I have a few pics at snow canyon as well. It's named after a person named "snow". It's hot, dry, and beautiful.

And the road around Lake Meade National Rec Area is kinda rough. Don't expect to make great time. If you have time, a side trip into Valley of Fire State Park is worth the trip.
