I have a Daughter movin to Myrtal, and was wondering, how far I have to ride to find some roads with turns in them. A guy on another site says it's flat and straight close by at Myrtal. Thanks

Yup, flat and straight as Forida, the peidmont and western mountains are 3-4 hrs northwest. good golfing though, if youre into that.

It's Myrtle but that's no biggie. It is quite a search for some turns, but if it's golf, shopping or the beach, you'll be covered. :)

I'll be there the first week in March chasing the little white ball around. I go every year with my dad and brothers. It's pretty flat and there is quite a bit of traffic during the warmer seasons. Lots of poseurs cruising the main street both in cars and on bikes. North Myrtle is a little quieter. The roads along the coast north of Myrtle into North Carolina have some bends in them, but no elevation. The beaches are very nice.
