I don't feel too badly for him, he's a good guy from all that I've picked up on this forum! Besides, he gets to live close enough to the real deal to make burrito runs, so taking a dump just shouldn't be an issue in my book! LOL.

Geeze... the discussion turns toward suppositories and BeemerDonS is getting excited?

:p
I was thinking of Colace as being a PO med. But you make a good point !
Ha, ha; this is great! Is that what Colace really is? I am so thick, I thought it was just another piece of Canadian jargon I did not understand. I didn't understand poutine either, until last year's CFR in Nakusp! I do have to take my heart meds; but, DE OPPRESSO LIBER is right on regarding the other issue. I have Mexican la comida every single day, so taking a dump es no problemo. Had my daily dose of frijoles a la Sonora yesterday at desayuno in Casa Grande, AZ. Smooth Moves!!!

I'll blame CJ. All started with his cougar definitions. And then all of the follow up posts. Just finished laughing.........and shaking my head. Sick puppies!

Can someone please explain in detail how the Hell a discussion about the pending NAFO dates turned into a thread about Don taking a ****? WTF is wrong with this place?

Now I have to ****. Just great!

I'm confident it hasn't turned to ****, period. I know (because I'm in the same boat) how sometimes alot of time is needed for being able to get time off of work, but, will just have to be a little more patient. Trust me, I know that all of the folks putting in the extra time to put this together are working diligently on pulling everything together as quickly as they can.

Could the process have been started a little sooner to allot for planning? Perhaps. But there are some factors that are beyond the planner's control that should be taken into consideration while affording them a little more slack, i.e college football schedules. Just my dos pesos. Voy a cerrar mis boca ahoramismo. (I'll shut up now).

De Oppresso Liber!!! how you doing??? I'm looking forward to this whole thing and more wild times :yahoo:
Doood! Shouldn't you be at work wrecking lives or sumpin'? You gonna hijack dis tread and like get bof of us in da pokey!

I'm looking forward to it too, as is everyone else around here. I still say that Lewisburg is, to my eyes, centrally located with alot of great roads and sites to fill up a full week for anyone, even Ashe! It certainly has my vote. I know there is most likely some sentiment that there were two EOM's held there and maybe those from the right coast don't wanna re-ride the area, but can't think of a better place to show the other area's members. The Dragon and Cherohala are nice roads, and I love Rt 28 in NC/SC, but those are just a few roads that can be ridden in one day. to me Lewisburg had ALOT to offer!

But, I'm not planning this thing and it ain't up to me, so I'll just be patient, wait, and hope I can make it wherever and whenever it is ;) . Hell, just planning a weekend ride for some fancy soup is a full part-time job!

Good to hear from ya G! Hope to see you there!

I've been there on my FJR twice (once not an EOM). I'm pretty sure that I haven't ridden on all the good roads in the area yet, and really liked the ones I did, so would gladly ride them again.

Eastern WV would be a good choice, IMO. But I'm not picky... ;)

Let's see. Most of these rallies are officially Friday and Saturday, go home Sunday. Get there early on Thursday if ya don't want to miss out on anything Friday. Usually have 5 or 6 planned out ride routes. If it rains hard on one or two days...doesn't leave much time to see the area.

I say let's make it longer than 2 days. Like maybe 4. Especially for the NATIONAL rally. You wouldn't have to stay that long. More time to ride AND socialize. Too bad to ride so far and have such a short rally. Just sayin'.

Hey Charlie, good idea. As of now, I plan to arrive Wednesday evening and leave Monday morning. That could change depending on exactly where the rally is held and how much vacation I use up before it happens. I am planning one day traveling each way.

+1. Once we have a venue everyone can make plans to come in and head out as they want.

Many folks come in a few days early and some others leave a few days late.

And then you can always hook up with some folks and take a few days to get there and a few days to get home.

Should have no problem turning this 2 day rally into 2 weeks, if you want, Charlie. ;)

Just thinking if it was planned for 4 days more people would plan to stay around...more good peeps, more fun.

Things like the banquet would still be Sat night. I would personally like to see the local area a bit. I hear ya though, if we want to stick around a few days, just go for it. Fred, two weeks sounds good, I'm retired. :scooter:

Last EOM there were 7 possible rides and only 4 days. Somethin not adding up here. :dribble: As it was I think I only did 1 1/2 rides. :drinks:

Do I understand correctly that a TBA500 HAS to be completed in 12 hours?
No, you can complete it in much less time than 12 hours, four of us did it in 9hrs, and i'm sure there's room for improvement ;)
500 miles in 9hours-IMPRESSIVE!

No way I could do something like this in 9 hours.

Maybe I should move to Florida to train :D
