ASSuming he rides from his home in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, it looks like gypsy will be a shoo-in for the "Farthest NAFO Attendee" Award....

Wow! That's very cool. I was kind of getting it from registrations seeing various cities, states, and provinces.....but to put in a map truly shows that this event is a national and international event! :yahoo:

Thanks for putting in all that time WC to get this together... :clapping:

"Course this will be my first opportunity to shake the hands of some of the west coast FJR riding buddies...looking forward to this. :yahoo:

I think some of my midwest neighbors have to take advantage of the closeness of this FIRST National event. Closeness to us and closeness to some front range roads and great scenery.

If the trip out there isn't long enough for ya...add some west coast or GNP riding before or after the event.

Hey! Wheres my baloon? :angry2: We're coming up from Albuquerque NM and registered the fist week! IT's the same story as the national weather reports, Sunny in Arizona and rainey in Texas, uh? Screw that place in between!

Hey, Boss!

You keep missing me! Screw that Escapefjr guy. He's a nobody from Snohomish. Everybody know who knows that Monroe is where it's all at!

It's all about me! me. Me . Me. (pant, pant)

What's with the angry smilie? So, your balloon got popped. Not like WC is on the clock for all the work he's done or anything.

Look, folks, if your balloon is missing, don't take offense. It could be something as minor as a code error, your browser is dicked or maybe your complete information was entered wrong on your end(yes, that can happen. we've had many wrong email addy's for example).

So if I rode out to Hammond Plains to pick up Jude.... just to warm up my tires for the trip out ... would that count?

He is only three provinces to the east of me. :glare:

Document it. Maybe we'll have two, one for direct routing and one for indirect routing. But, you'll have to come to NAFO to find out and what the award might be. ;)

Well duh!

So what you are telling me is....

you don't know who's coming...

Why does that not surprise me?

I know everyone who is coming to date. The point is, there may be others who might wanna try to best your mileage who may not currently be signed up. ;)

Wait. There seems to be an omission on the map! Didn't Caba signup to attend from Eastern Europe? <_<
Caba is there.... Kosice, Slovakia

However, the rules are: it's the mileage from your home town, assuming your rode all the way to Golden, Colorado on your FJR.

We might make a water-borne exception for, say, a ferry ride across the Mississippi River, but not a trans-Atlantic shipping of your bike

Is there a listing somewhere of the various "contests" that will be held at NAFO? (ie "dickwad of the year, etc)

...cuz hey if it's just farthest rider...I stills got time to move the family to Labrador somewhere or maybe down in Chile. I'm sure the family will unnerstan...by God its a NAFO contest aint it! :clapping: :clapping:

...wait...never mind...that might qualify me for the dickwad of the year award. :)

...and I can see that might be a hard one to win with all the competition an all. :D
